Housing and Travel
Housing is not included in the program fee, but students can choose to purchase it during the registration process. Participants have the option of staying in the new air conditioned dormitory, Central Campus Residence Hall. Linens are included in your stay, and will be left in the room for you. Staying on campus is convenient for access to dining halls, parking, easy access to class, and downtown restaurants.
A minimum of 2 nights is required. Parking fees in Gutterson Garage are waived for individuals staying on campus; pay station and permit rates in other lots will still apply.
If you would like to make overnight accommodations at area hotels, please visit the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce’s website for a list of area hotels.
A parking pass is required on weekdays for on-campus parking. A parking permit is included for those staying on campus, just request it when you check in to housing. All parking permits will be for Gutterson Garage. If you opt for a parking permit during the registration process, and you are not staying on campus, it will be emailed to you along with a map of the parking location. If you did not request a permit during registration, but now require one, please go back into your registration and add it, or contact UVM Continuing & Distance Education at 800-639-3210 or 802-656-2085, or email@example.com if you need help adding a parking permit to your registration. General information about parking at UVM can be found on the Transportation and Parking Service website.
