Learn moreUVM Advance is a collection of credit courses designed for those who want to earn college credits, whether one course at a time or bundled into a credit certificate that could stack towards a future degree program. UVM Advance is also known as a non-degree program.
Students take credit courses through UVM Advance to prepare for graduate school, pursue a new career path, build toward an advanced degree, professional development, or to gain a competitive edge at work.
In most cases, up to nine credits can transfer into a graduate degree program at UVM and up to 60 into an undergraduate degree. However, students must check with the degree program to confirm the transfer of credits.

Yes, if a course isn’t open yet for enrollment, you can fill out a pre-registration form. You will be notified when courses open for enrollment.
If you are new to UVM, please fill out the application form here, and you will be activated as a UVM Advance/Non-degree student (no obligation).
