We are excited to announce a partnership between UVM and Kaplan Test Prep that will allow you to prepare for the MCAT at a deeply discounted rate.

The MCAT Prep Self-Paced Online courses are open and available to all UVM students at a rate of $1250 per student, a significant savings off of Kaplan’s current retail class rate of $1999 per student.

Self-Paced Online Registration

The MCAT Prep In-Person courses are open and available to all UVM students at a rate of $1500 per student, a significant savings off of Kaplan’s current retail class rate of $2499 per student.

In-Person Registration

Registration Instructions

Please note, you will receive your access instructions to the course directly from Kaplan. UVM will submit registrants’ information to Kaplan on the 15th of each month, and it takes Kaplan approximately 3-5 business days to process the registrations, so please allow time for this to take place.

Full refunds can be requested and made between the 1st and the 20th of the month (by noon EST on the 20th), for any enrollment requests that were submitted during that same month. After the 20th of the month, no refunds shall be made.

Registration Instructions

Please note, you will receive your access instructions to the course directly from Kaplan. Full refunds must be requested at least one week (7 days) prior to the posted class start date; none of the resources available through the online syllabus can have been used in order for the refund request to be honored. In the event that the In Person class is cancelled, or student is no longer able to attend the In Person class for which they originally registered, Kaplan will honor student’s request to transfer to a different In Person class schedule posted to www.kaptest.com/MCAT.

Alumna Learns the Rewards of Medicine in Post-Baccalaureate Premed Program

UVM alumna Joy Benner ’15 is starting medical school this August at the UVM Larner College of Medicine. We talked to Joy, who completed the UVM Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program, about her time studying at UVM, conducting research, volunteering for the Art for the Heart program, and working in the UVM Medical Center Emergency Department.
