Can these courses be taken anywhere, including outside the U.S.?

Yes! These courses are 100% online and can be taken anywhere.

Does the tuition rate differ if I am an out-of-state or international student?

The tuition rate is set at $850 for all students and does not differ based on a student’s residency.

Are materials included? If yes, will they all be housed on the online site?

Yes, all course materials are included in the price and materials can be accessed through the online platform Blackboard.

What is the course environment?

  • Weekly instructor presentations to review previous material, and introduce and explain new material
  • Discussion boards for weekly assignments, along with peer and instructor support
  • Access to course materials (videos, readings, workbooks)

What are the module components?

What is the payment policy for this program?

Students may register by paying the full $850 program fee online via credit card or by calling us at 802-656-8407 to make a partial payment of $500. Should you make a partial payment, the remaining $350 must be paid in full no later than two weeks prior to the start of this offering. If payment is not received by then, you will automatically be dropped from the course the following business day. Refunds will be issued less a $25.00 cancellation fee.

What is the refund policy for this program?

If you need to cancel your attendance, you must notify us via email at noncredit@uvm.edu or call us at (802) 656-8407 at least three business days prior to the start date of the course to receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. If a medical condition necessitates cancellation/withdrawal (documentation provided), this will be reviewed by our Studies Committee for any type of refund.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes, there is 20% discount for the following people (this brings the total course fee to $760):

  • UVM Digital Marketing Alumni: Digital Marketing Fundamentals Certificate and Digital Marketing School courses
  • UVM and UVM Medical Center Affiliates (UVM students, alumni, current and retired faculty and staff and their spouses and dependents, and UVM Medical Center employees, their spouses and dependents.)
  • Members of PMI-CV, VBSR, eCommerce Professionals Association, LCRCC

Can I use VA Benefits, military tuition assistance, GI Bill, or VA Fry grant to pay for these courses?

No, these courses have not been certified for VA benefits. Only the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Professional Certificate program has been approved for VA benefits. None of the Digital Marketing 4-week courses are certified for VA benefits.

How will I be graded?

You will be assessed on your participation in the discussion boards, completion of assignments, and comprehension of the course material. Students must successfully participate in 70% of the program in order to receive an electronic Certificate of Completion. Because these are non-credit courses, there is no transcript.

What is the weekly workload for these courses?

We estimating 4-6 hours for each course. However, people vary their level of involvement in the course. We anticipate a smaller weekly demand than the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Professional Certificate.

Is there a required weekly class time for these courses?

Since these courses are asynchronous and 100% online, you can work at your own pace.

Advanced SEO

Are there live sessions for this course?

Yes, there are live sessions for Advanced SEO. Live session given participants the chance to have a live Q&A and discussion time with the instructor. The live sessions are on Mondays at 8pm EST. These session are not required and are recorded and posted on Blackboard.

Are there any tech requirements for this?

Yes, we will be logging into and working on a live e-commerce website so you will need to be fluent in tools like Excel/Google Sheets and web browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

If my organization doesn’t use Google Analytics, will this course be relevant to me?

Yes, this course is helpful for anyone looking to enhance their analytics knowledge by delving deeper into basic (and some more comprehensive) data functions. The course material features Google Analytics, but the knowledge you’ll gain is applicable across multiple analytics platforms.
