"Aside from going to a local university with Belizean teachers and peers, my fellow UVM students and I have made Belizean friends, joined sports teams and organizations, and attended town celebrations and festivities. We are also working on service learning projects within communities which allows for a more meaningful interaction with locals and insight into the community."
