Food Systems Summer Courses

Some of the most pressing problems we face today are a result of our contemporary food system. Everyone will benefit from learning about the food system and the interconnectedness of food, health, society, and the environment. Through the inter-disciplinary study of food systems you’ll learn important aspects of economics, health, agriculture, finance, systems thinking, math, ecology, business, environmental studies, complex systems, sustainability, etc.

The University of Vermont offers coursework and programs for people focused on developing a breadth of knowledge and/or depth in specific areas so they can help support the development of a new system by:
