Jamie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Vermont in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics. She completed her master’s degree, also from UVM, in dietetics in 2013. As the director of nutrition at The Edge Sports & Fitness in South Burlington, Jamie works with individual clients and groups, providing nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and meal planning assistance as well as serving as a personal trainer and fitness class instructor.
Jamie is all about working with clients to set manageable goals to bring about meaningful and lasting improvements in both health and performance. A former three sport high school athlete, college field hockey and squash player, and now adjunct professor of Sports Nutrition and avid runner—closing in on 50 marathons and a handful of ultramarathons—Jamie understands the importance of a good diet when it comes to competitive sports or just enjoying a casual workout or activity.
