We’re excited to offer a fun Digital Content Project for Summer Academy students during the Summer 2025 session. These activities and prizes are accessible for both Residential and Commuting students, and created to be fun and engaging while the students are attending classes both on campus and at home as online students.

Content Assignments & Prizes

The Assignments: 

#1 – On Campus Video: “Day In The Life” or “Week In The Life”

  • Document your student experience while attending classes and living on campus 
  • Create a “Day in the Life” or “Week in the Life” video about your on-campus experience 
  • Tag @universityofvermont and #UVMSummerAcademy 
  • Tag the college that your Summer Academy class is connected with (list below!)
  • Link: go.uvm.edu/summer-academy 
  • Publish this video on your social media channels, preferably TikTok or Instagram 
  • Timing: capture weeks 1-2, publish during week-2 of the on-campus phase 

#2 – Video Activation: “Time Machine” Video Booth

  • This assignment is only available to the Residential Students on campus
  • Participate in the “Time Machine” video booth experience, July 10 at 8-9 PM
  • Ask yourself… “If I could go back in time to before Summer Academy, what would I tell myself about this Summer Academy experience?”
  • Record a message to yourself in the “Time Machine”

#3 – At Home, Online Student Video: “Day In The Life” or “Week In The Life”

  • Document your student experience while attending online classes at home 
  • Create a “Day in the Life” or “Week in the Life” video about your online student experience 
  • Tag @universityofvermont and #UVMSummerAcademy 
  • Tag the college that your Summer Academy class is connected with (list below!)
  • Link: go.uvm.edu/summer-academy 
  • Publish this video on your social media channels, preferably TikTok or Instagram 
  • Timing: publish during week-4 of the online phase 

The Prizes: 

  • $100 Gift Cards to the UVM Bookstore
    • We are awarding six(6) $100 gift cards to the UVM Bookstore, for online or in-person shopping
    • Students who meet the following criteria will be entered to win one of the six gift cards
      • Residential Students:
        • Participate with all three(3) video assignments
      • Commuting Students:
        • Participate with two(2) video assignments
  • Apply to be a PAID Content Creator for UVM
    • Participating student creators will be eligible for consideration as a paid content creator for future UVM PACE content campaigns and content projects 
  • UVM PACE will reshare and amplify your videos across our social channels
