This program offers high school students the opportunity to enroll in UVM courses, gain college credits, and receive a 50% in-state/out-of-state academic year tuition reduction.
Access to UVM summer and academic year courses is on a space available basis and students should register for the course at least 3 weeks prior to the course starting.
Academically Talented is open to students while still in high school or the summer after they graduate.
- Enroll in UVM courses, gain academic credits, and receive a reduced tuition rate.
- Students can take on campus and online courses through this program.
- Students are responsible for all comprehensive fees, course fees and books.
Interested high school students are required to:
- Obtain an endorsement from their guidance counselor

If you’re currently going to a public high school in Vermont, you can take *two tuition-free college courses while in your junior or senior year of high school, that also count as credit towards graduation from high school.
*You are responsible for any fees (comprehensive, lab and materials)
