The Summer Academy Co-Curricular Coordinator (SACC) is a temporary position that will lead activities for high school students entering grades 11, 12, or recent graduates during UVM’s Summer Academy. The program runs from June 29–July 11, 2025, with approximately 50 residential students. The SACC will supervise on- and off-campus activities, facilitate workshops on college-readiness topics, and host informal discussions to foster personal and academic growth. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with Residential Educational Assistants (REAs) and ensuring the students have a positive, engaging experience.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with high school students and facilitating workshops.
- Familiarity with UVM and college readiness topics.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Background check required.
- Must attend training and be available for evening and weekend hours during the program.
Dates: Mid-May–July 11, 2025 (the meetings in May & early June will be via Teams, but we will need you in person by mid June)
Salary: $2,000 for approximately 100 hours of work between meetings, training, and activities on and off campus. Exact hours will be determined upon candidates’ availability and the needs of the programs.
