By examining how these factors shape the global economy and influence daily life, you will develop a deeper understanding of macroeconomic issues and their real-world implications.

Section Expectation

This course is conducted in person. Students are expected to attend lectures, take notes, and actively engage with the material. The course moves at a relatively fast pace, and students should plan to devote approximately 6–8 hours per week to coursework. We will be using a platform called Achieve for interactive assignments and regular coursework. Students are expected to register for Achieve, which includes a digital version of our required textbook—Macroeconomics (Seventh Edition) by Paul Krugman and Robin Wells.
