Get ahead when it comes to experiencing college and earn college credits while still in high school. Whether it’s during the academic year or during the summer, UVM Continuing Education has many courses available to high school students and recent high school graduates, both on campus and online.

Guaranteed Admissions Program (GAP)
High school graduates, through a series of approved college courses and one-on-one advising sessions with an experienced academic advisor, can demonstrate their academic readiness and gain credits that count toward a degree at UVM. Upon successfully completing courses, students can position themselves for guaranteed admission into a UVM program.

High School Payment Options

Dual Enrollment
A Vermont statewide program for high school students to obtain one college course with tuition fully reimbursed by Next Generation Funds, a Vermont State Legislative funded program.

Academically Talented
This UVM program offers eligible Vermont high school students the opportunity to enroll in courses, gain academic credits, and receive a 50% in-state tuition discount.
