Experience the University of Vermont and earn college credit now.

We understand these are unsettling times—and that we are all trying to find our “new normal.” At the University of Vermont, we can’t imagine a normal that doesn’t include the academic and professional development of our students. That’s why we’re continuing to move ahead with—and build out—our online summer course options.

As gaining admission to college becomes increasingly competitive and hyperselective, the Pre-College Programs at the University of Vermont enable high school students to shine, allowing them to earn credits, explore potential career interests, boost their GPA, showcase their potential, and learn from our outstanding faculty alongside current university students.

High school students can choose from over 100 courses, available throughout the year—as well as our 4-week, intensive Summer Academy program.

Catamount Enrichment Learning Community

As part of your Pre-College learning experience, you will have access to the UVM Catamount Enrichment Learning Community, designed as an educational and interactive resource to support your UVM courses. You will be part of this community to receive important information about academic updates and deadlines, develop your study and learning skills, participate in upcoming events and activities, connect with other students, and explore the many resources and opportunities provided through UVM and other organizations.
