2025 Programs with Summer Course Offerings

The University of Vermont offers educational opportunities for those interested in continuing their learning over the summer.

Programs

  • School Library Media Specialist
    • The school library media courses are offered as standalone courses that are aligned with the school librarian endorsement for Vermont educators, or as a strand within the Master of Education program within the College of Education and Social Services.  Our six school library media courses are offered in a two-year cycle, one per semester, and are delivered in a blended synchronous and asynchronous online format that is convenient for distance learners. 
  • Resiliency-Based & Trauma-Informed Practices
    • UVM’s College of Education and Social Services offers this coursework to prepare educators and health and human service professionals to address the complex challenges associated with trauma and adversity using restorative, strength-based, and collaborative approaches that build resilience and encourage children, youth, and families to thrive and learn.
  • Education and Social Services Professional Development Courses
    • Our professional development courses are built on collaboration, research-informed practices and real-world experience, offering exciting new opportunities and promising strategies to help you make a difference for individuals, families, schools and communities. Offered as online, hybrid, on campus, or travel study, UVM’s convenient and flexible courses provide pathways to boost your career, enhance your credentials, and improve your practice.
