Professional and Continuing Education students in a required course of study leading to a degree may be eligible for Stafford Loans. In addition, Vermont Student Assistance Corporation sponsors a non-degree grant program for eligible students. Scholarships Offered Through UVM’s Professional and Continuing Education

Osher Foundation Reentry Scholarship Endowment:The Bernard Osher Foundation has made a generous endowment to the University of Vermont to provide scholarship support for students seeking their degree after a significant break in their studies. If you meet these criteria, we welcome your application for scholarship support. Awards are generally $2,000 for the academic year. University of Vermont Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Scholarship for End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate Candidates: The University of Vermont (UVM) End-of-Life Doula Professional Certificate program supports the development and entry into the Doula profession of more individuals who, by their background, work, studies, and/or service endeavors, increase, support and demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The goal of this scholarship is to broaden the reach of doulas and aspiring doulas to provide culturally-affirming EOL care within more communities.
