Grants for Vermonters
The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) provides grants to help residents of all ages pursue higher education and career training. These funds reduce the financial burden of schooling, making it more accessible for Vermonters to achieve their professional and academic goals.
Vermont Grant: Available to Vermont residents who demonstrate financial need and are accepted or enrolled in a full-time or part-time undergraduate degree or certificate program. Eligibility excludes those with a bachelor’s degree, except for students in UVM’s M.D. program or an accredited veterinary medicine program.
Advancement Grant: An option if you are taking a course or program to improve your ability to get a job or further expand your skills. Designed for adult learners who are not enrolled in high school, and are enrolled in a UVM Advance (non-degree or non-matriculated) course or program that will improve their ability to get a job or that encourages further study.
You must apply through VSAC to be considered for these grants at vsac.org. Looking for other funding options as a Vermonter? Contact vsac.org for more information.
