Students will be able to:
• Use appropriate measures to summarize the distribution and impact of disease in a population
• Use appropriate measures to summarize the relationship between exposures and health outcomes
• Distinguish between epidemiologic study designs and evaluate their strengths and limitations
• Use appropriate statistical methods to perform basic data analysis for epidemiologic studies
• Evaluate how bias, confounding, and random chance may contribute to relationships between variables
• Interpret and communicate the results of published public health research
