Emphasizing collaboration, experimentation, and ensemble practice, the course explores intersections of contemporary dance, music, and theatrical expression. This course is open to students of all backgrounds and requires no prior experience. It welcomes those with curiosity and a commitment to creative practice, with priority enrollment given to DNCE majors and minors.

While the course and creative process take place in Fall 2026, the final work will be presented in the UVM Dance Program’s annual concert, Dancing Uphill, in February 2027 at Cohen Hall Performance Studio. Students must be prepared to commit to rehearsals and performance schedules.

Interested students are encouraged to attend the UVM Dance Program Open House and Audition on March 30, 5:00–6:30 pm at Cohen Hall Performance Studio. If you are unable to attend, please contact the instructor to express interest.
