Section Description
Most animals, at some time in their life cycle, move. Muscle-directed movement also happens internally in many animals. This course is an exploration of electrically excitable muscles and the neurons that innervate them. Muscle physiology and neural circuits from across the animal kingdom will be compared to identify common principles and unique adaptations.
