Section Description
Clinical Practicum: Hematology is a 3 credit course, requires the student to be in the laboratory for 36 to 40 hours per week, and designed to provide a variety of experiences for the student in the Hematology/Hemostasis Laboratory. Upon completion of MLS 3292, the student will gain a strong understanding of hematology and coagulation, develop technical and organizational skills, and meet the required expectations for an entry level Medical Laboratory Scientist needed to successfully complete a routine work load and solve problems that occur during a routine workday in Hematology.
