Selections from Vergil and Ovid. Prerequisite: LAT 1200 or equivalent.

Section Description
'Intermediate' Latin includes reading ancient works but also review of the basics of Latin syntax and vocabulary. Readings will include a variety of well known Roman authors (perhaps Cicero, Seneca, Vergil, Horace) and some authors who are not as often read in Latin.
Section Expectation
Students need to have taken the equivalent of the first two semesters of Latin. Students need to do daily assignments of readings, worksheets, and learning vocabulary.
Evaluation
There will be daily homework/quizzes, a creative/scholarly project, and midterm and final exams.
