Section Description

The senior capstone is an opportunity for students to integrate relevant knowledge and skills from their entire academic program into a culminating experience or project. As a culminating experience, the capstone also requires interdisciplinary and contextual perspectives and mastery of a body of knowledge and intellectual accomplishment that goes significantly beyond classroom learning. This course is designed to support students throughout their capstone experience.

Section Expectation

Students are expected to complete a minimum of 2 hours per week/credit at their selected internship.. • Demonstrated student initiative • Significant preparatory work • Active inquiry • Integration of acquired knowledge and skills • Culmination of previous academic work
