STAT 141: Basic Statistical Methods - Foundational course for students taking further quantitative courses. Topics include: Exploratory Data Analysis for both Quantitative and Categorical variables, Study/Experimental Design, Probability and Probability Distributions, Estimation and Hypothesis Testing for univariate and bivariate data (including Regression Inference). Graphing TI 83/84 Calculator The TI 83/84 graphing calculator is required and will be used in class. Various statistical functions are built-in to the calculator which will be utilized in problem demonstrations and for exams.
