All first-time math students are required to take an online math placement test before the course begins.  We will contact you with details.


A placement exam is required of first-time math students.

Pre-requisites must have been taken at UVM. Look up your course to check the pre-requisites.

A GPA (grade point average) below a 2.8 does not automatically disqualify you from taking a course at UVM.

Reduced-Tuition Program Eligibility




Dual Enrollment

Based on your answers above, you may qualify for a Dual Enrollment Voucher.  Dual Enrollment vouchers allow Vermont high school students to take up to two college courses total during their Junior and Senior years at a reduced price. Learn more about Dual Enrollment.
