Please join us for an exhibition, presentation, and reception with artist Lynn Cummings. In the words of the artist:
The paintings I have chosen to exhibit in this show represent some of my most favorite things in life – flowers, autumn in Vermont, old barns in scenic landscapes and my newest endeavor, abstract watercolor/mixed media collage.
I grew up in a family of gardeners, so I have always had a passion for flowers and all things botanical. Who doesn’t appreciate autumn in Vermont? As an artist it is a joy to paint close-ups of leaves, distant vibrant mountains, and rustic barns surrounded by brilliant fall color. Artists grow and change, and after recently being introduced to creating abstract collage, that has become another passion. This is my first series, and represents some of my most recent travels in Colombia, Mexico and the Western US.
