Sarah L. Davies, MD is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and Division Chief of Urgent Care. She completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, earned her medical degree from Georgetown University, and completed her residency at UVM, where she served as chief resident. After residency, Dr. Davies joined Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) as a primary care physician and served as Medical Director of Norwich University Student Health Services. She later transitioned into urgent care leadership as Clinical Site Leader of CVMC Express Care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she provided medical oversight and operational leadership for CVMC’s acute respiratory clinic, mobile testing site, and vaccine clinic. She served as Medical Director of Primary Care at CVMC during a period of leadership transition and integration into network departments and medical group unification. In 2021, she was honored with the CVMC Medical Staff Leadership Award. Dr. Davies currently chairs the UVM Health Network Medical Group’s Professional Services Committee, focusing on recruitment, retention, and professional fulfillment of physicians and advanced practice professionals across the network.
