Kathleen Culver is into her 35th year at Nokia, a Fortune 500 high-tech company based in Finland. Her career blends passion for innovation with a drive to solve real-world problems. Her favorite projects focus on transforming cutting-edge technologies into solutions for real people. Some of these projects had budgets in the tens of million dollars with tens of thousands of users while others had tiny budgets and only a few users. Key to the success of these efforts is Kathleen’s project management expertise.
In 2021 Kathleen launched the PMCoaching.org venture to fill a gap in project panagement training today: providing Project Management education that is practical to use, not theoretical and not aimed to pass a certification exam. Since then, she has been providing training and coaching to nonprofits, municipalities, small businesses, and community groups.
Kathleen has a BA in Economics and MS in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Boston College. Her professional certifications include; Project Management Professional (PMI), Program Management Professional (PMI), Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA), TOGAF 9 (Open Group), and ITIL (APMG Foundation).
