Emma Acker is an End-of-Life Doula and artist. In 2021, she founded All’s Well Initiative to provide compassionate end-of-life care across the socioeconomic spectrum of NYC. All’s Well also cultivates a growing EOLD network by hosting bimonthly, in-real-life gatherings that provide support and education in an environment conducive to exploring the personal EOL doula journey. Emma is proud to be part of the Artists’ Grief Deck project and a founding team member of Here to Honor, fostering death literacy within communities.
As a graduate of the UVM EOLD Professional Certificate program, Emma is overjoyed to share this excellent curriculum with new students. Though she has lived in NYC for two thirds of her life, she still retains the New Zealand accent of her childhood. Swimming and her art practice keep her grounded.
