Deborah Aronson is a veterinarian specializing in palliative care and humane in-home end-of-life services for companion animals. She has devoted her career to this field since 2008, inspired by the experience of helping her own beloved cat pass peacefully at home.
Dr. Aronson has founded multiple in-home palliative and end-of-life practices, most recently Twilight Range Veterinary Care in Park City, Utah. In addition to extensive clinical experience, she holds chaplaincy training and certification in veterinary medical acupuncture, offering a distinctive, whole-person approach that integrates medicine, communication, and emotional care.
An international speaker and educator, Dr. Aronson teaches veterinary professionals and students practical skills in compassionate communication, emotional resilience, and supporting clients through the most challenging moments in practice. She is a graduate of UVM’s Companion Animal End-of-Life Certificate program and is honored to serve as a subject matter expert for the course.
