“Being able to work full-time as a special educator on a provisional license in the school district while completing courses and my internship requirements allows me to gain incredible knowledge through countless experiences. My work and schooling has shown me what it takes to be a committed educator and learn strategies to reach students from all walks of life. Grateful doesn’t do justice the way I feel about my time in this program.”

Get Licensure Support in Vermont and Beyond

Different states have varying requirements for teaching license reciprocity. While some states allow teachers to transfer their license without any additional requirements, other states may need you to complete additional requirements, such as coursework, assessments, or classroom experience, before receiving a full professional certificate in the new state.

We’re here to help you navigate teaching licensure questions! Our Director of Education Licensure Patrick Halladay is available if you have any questions before applying to our program.
