Section Description

Physics 1550 is a second semester introductory calculus-based college physics course for students in Physics, Electrical Engineering and other Engineering programs. Students will be presented with the topics of Optics and Optical Instruments, Electric and Magnetic fields, Electric and Magnetic forces and Energy, and Electricity in PHYS1550.
Physics 1560 exists as an opportunity to work on problem solving skills for Physics 1550 in a structured and supportive environment.

Course Learning Objectives
Provide additional insight into and practice algebra-based physics and problem solving skills.

Section Expectation

Students will be given a short problem to solve during the class or will be requested to upload images of their in-class work into Brightspace. Attendance is important to understand the problems solved during class.
