Section Description

Basic climbing techniques are taught from bouldering to lead climbing to cover a broad overview of techniques. Additionally, students learn how to belay, support one another and become familiar with climbing etiquettes and safety practices. *Classes are notorious for filling quickly but folks often drop before the first day when they realize it is off-campus and then we have low numbers. If a section is full reach out for an override and can get you in.*

Section Expectation

Expectations are that folks attend class on time and show full participation.

Evaluation

Evaluation of the course is mostly participation based with one additional assignment where folks add value to the course by presenting a climbing-related topic to the class.
