Section Description

This intensive course explores key molecular biology and biochemistry discoveries and how they have shaped modern science, medicine, and society. Through historical case studies, students will examine key molecular concepts, understand the historical context of landmark discoveries, and analyze the ethical and societal implications of these advances. Students will develop critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and reflective skills.

Evaluation

Different educational formats will be used over the course, including book excerpts and slide shows, videos, and virtual class discussions. Components of the evaluation comprise quizzes, participation, and case studies.
