Section Description

This course uses short readings, class discussions and brief writing assignments to help undergraduate students with majors in the humanities cultivate an appreciation for how the creative, analytical, and interpretive skills they have attained through their coursework can be used in a wide variety of career fields. Moreover, assignments are designed to help those students fine tune their ability to market themselves to prospective employers with those skills in mind.

Evaluation

class discussions = 40% (2 X 20% each) short writing assignments = 60% (3 X 20% each)
