About ASCI 3160 A
Laboratory for fundamental principles of the physiology of reproduction with emphasis on, but not limited to, farm animals. Must be taken concurrently with ASCI 3150. Topics vary by offering; periodic offering at intervals that may exceed four years. Prerequisites: ASCI 2110, ASCI 2120; or Instructor permission. Co-requisite: ASCI 3150.

Instructor Permission Required; Prereqs enforced by system: (ASCI 2110 and 2120) or 2105; Pre- and Post-Online work,(spring break dates TBD- 2 days), 8 am 3 pm both days; for the course such as readings, info session, and a debriefing will occur. Transportation provided from Miller farm leaving at 8 am to Kayhart dairy in W Addison VT returning no later than 3pm both days. Students must provide their own coveralls and boots but learning materials will be provided. Course Fee: $165 Open to Degree and PACE students
Section Description
This is a 2 day course over spring break. Students must attend two consecutive days the week of spring break (exact dates TBD). This course occurs at an off campus farm (transportation provided) both days from ~8-4 pm. Students will meet at the Miller Farm to then head off campus.
Section Expectation
Attend 2 day off campus workshop over spring break to complete Artificial Insemination training through GENEX.
Evaluation
Completion of AI training course with Genex
