About CDAE 2160 A
Explores visual communication through advanced projects in design research, planning, iteration, technical and software experimentation, and production for multi-modal design applications. Prerequisite: CDAE 1160.

Section Description
This course serves an an intermediate approach to applied projects in visual communication design with emphasis on typography, identity systems, information graphics and 2D animation. Techniques focus on creating visual designs through the use of contemporary illustrative and photographic software packages for electronic and print production.
Section Expectation
Mandatory attendance and participation in critique. Development of portfolio quality work.
