Section Description
This course will summarize and explain key aspects of the US healthcare and public health delivery systems, including the legal, ethical, economic, and regulatory dimensions of health care and public health policy, and the roles, influences and responsibilities of the different agencies and branches of government with regards to healthcare and public health.
Section Expectation
Students are expected to come to class having completed assigned work, actively participate in class discussions, and complete all assignments on time.
Evaluation
Students are evaluated based on classroom attendance and participation, quizzes, an annotated bibliography, a infographic, and final presentation.
