Topics will include techniques of integration, including integration by parts, trigonometric substitution, and partial fractions; applications of integration, including arc length and surface area; parametric equations and polar coordinates; sequences and series, including analytic tests for convergence; Taylor series; complex numbers; and an introduction to vectors in two and three dimensions.

Section Expectation

This class is lecture based. The purpose of the lecture is for the instructor to present theory and demonstrate computational and graphical examples. Students will apply what they learn in class, on the homework, and will show what they have learned on quizzes and exams.
