Section Description
This course is a continuous course of Japanese elementary I (JAPN1100). This course is designed to develop students’ four basic skills in Japanese (speaking, listening, reading, writing) to communicate in Japanese in basic everyday situations. The course will cover textbook Genki I lessons 6-10.

You will need paper textbook and workbook for this course.

This course is a four-credit course that consists of three days of in-person classes and one day of asynchronous Bright Space learning. Regular attendance and active participation are highly expected. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, students have in-person classes. On Thursday, students have asynchronous learning via Brightspace.
Evaluation
Grades are based on attendance/participation, homework, quizzes, and exams.
