Section Description
This advanced Russian language course focuses on media analysis, allowing students to deepen their understanding of contemporary Russia through news, journals, magazines, TV shows, and social media. Students will develop critical skills to analyze and discuss current events, trends, and cultural topics in Russian society today. Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary expansion, comprehension, and fluency in discussing complex issues while exploring diverse media formats and the role of media in shaping public opinion. Prerequisite is RUSS 2200 or permission by instructor.
