About SOA 1500 A

Exploration of the history, theory, practice of diverse museums, including the evolving role of museums in society. Examination of the basic organization of a museum, as well as how museums shape meaning through curatorial practice, collections, digital technology, exhibition design, and architecture. Framed within a national and global perspective, explores career paths as well as critical ethical issues.
