About PHRM 6010 OL1

A systems approach to basic and applied pharmacology, including pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles, drug receptors and mechanisms, and clinically relevant adverse effects. Develops skills in diagnostic reasoning and evidence-based medicine. Prerequisite: Graduate student or Instructor permission.

Topics: Pharmacodynamics, Pharmacokinetics, Antihistamines & GI drugs, Thyroid Pharmacology, Pancreatic Pharmacology and Diabetes, Endocrine, and Autonomic Pharmacology, Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Antimicrobial Drugs, Anticancer Drugs, Antiparkinson's and Antipsychotics, Anxiolytics and Antidepressants, Opioids, and Drug Development.
