This CAP level two course gives students the opportunity to dig deeper into the topics presented by the work of the Consumer Assistance Program while gaining professional skills. The topics covered will echo those covered in CDAE 2590 but will allow for in-depth exploration and opportunity for personalized enhanced knowledge of topics such as consumer protection law in Vermont, addressing and protecting vulnerable Vermonters through individualized project work.

Section Expectation

The structure of the course will consist of a combination of CAP lab time, special projects, and progress meetings with classmates and the instructor to review project progress and competencies. Students will schedule at least four hours in the CAP lab and will complete work outside the lab as well.
