About RADT 3700 A
Introduces dosimetry, treatment planning and quality assurance concepts to prepare for clinical dosimetry rotations. Prerequisites: BHSC 2400; PHYS 1250 or PHYS 1400 and PHYS 1450.

Section Description
This course introduces dosimetry, treatment planning, and quality assurance concepts to prepare for clinical dosimetry rotations. We will expand on the foundation established in BCSC 2400 and RADT 2520 and explore radiation physics and dosimetry as they are applied in radiation oncology. The course will emphasize the importance of understanding the underlying physics and dosimetry concepts in the radiation therapist’s role in treatment delivery.
