The study of economic choices of individuals and firms, and the analysis of competitive and noncompetitive markets. Emphasis on application of intermediate microeconomic theory. Prerequisites: CDAE 2020 or equivalent.

Section Description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of microeconomic principles and their application to real-world economic issues. Students will learn how individual and firm-level decisions impact market outcomes, resource allocation, and economic efficiency. The course covers key topics such as supply and demand analysis, consumer behavior, production and costs, market structures, and the role of government in the economy. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical case studies, students will develop the analytical skills necessary to apply microeconomic concepts.
