Section Description
This course will provide you with the basic introduction to the evolutionary history of humans and our closest living relatives. We will focus on the principles of evolution and how humans fit into the natural world.
Section Expectation
Develop critical thinking skills to evaluate scientific literature.
Be able to discuss the scientific evidence for the evolution of humans, human ancestors, and our closest
living relatives.
Conceptualize how anatomy, biology, and our closest living relatives are integrated into the history of
human evolution.
Evaluation
You will be required to complete readings, book chapter assignments, exams, films, and short writing assignments. This class will use a points based system for calculating grades.
