Engineering cases and project. Statistical analysis software. Credit not awarded for both STAT 1410 and STAT 2430. Prerequisites: MATH 1212 or MATH 1234.

Expectations Prerequisites Math 1224 or 1228 Required Text Statistics for Engineers and Scientists, 4th edition by W. Navidi Assignments There will be 8 assignments in Blackboard. Solutions will be posted. Examinations There will be three exams and weekly quizzes. You will need a scientific calculator for each exam and quiz. All tests will be closed book and no notes (selected formulas will be provided). The quizzes and midterms are generally not cumulative. The final exam will be cumulative.

Evaluation

Grades will be based on: Your grade will be based on assignments (10%), weekly quizzes (10%), three unit exams (70% total), and iClicker Participation (10%).
