Section Description
This course discusses social forms of knowledge and issues of justice and ethics as they relate to knowledge. Topics that may be covered include: How can we learn things from the things other people say? How can knowledge be produced by the workings of a social group? Is there a kind of justice or injustice that can arise from the ways that we believe and disbelieve the things that other people say? How can gender and race affect people's ability to be believed and to be heard? among other topics.
