Prerequisites: Communication Sciences & Disorders, Education major or minor, Neuroscience major; minimum Sophomore standing; or Instructor permission.

Section Description
This course will present the structure and function of the respiratory, phonatory, articulatory, and hearing systems, coupled with models of speech and hearing as part of human communication.
Section Expectation
The course will be in a lecture format and include in-class exams, on-line quizzes and lab assignments.
Evaluation
Grades are based on attendance and class participation as well as performance on exams, quizzes and lab assignments.
