About ENSC 4010 Z1

Role of stress and disturbance and the natural process of recovery in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Human efforts to modify, restore, and remediate altered ecosystems. Prerequisites: NR 2030 or BCOR 2100; ENSC majors or Instructor permission.

Notes

Class meets in person May 20-May 25 from 8:00 to 5pm on M, T, W, Th, F, & Saturday for hands-on field work and work with community partners. During weeks 2-4, students will work online on individual case study assignments, discussion board posts, recorded lectures, and readings outside of class time. Class will meet on Tuesdays (May 28, June 4, and June 11th) from 6:00-8:30pm synchronously online for group work related to the final group service-learning project (a restoration management plan for a local natural area).
